God has a plan for each one of us. Our job is to give up our wants, our desires, our plans, and let God work through us. God will create in us the wants, desires, and plans He has for us. They are plans that He knows will give us a fulfilling, and happy life. Part of giving up our plans and wants for ourselves, is also giving up our plans and ideas for other people. God has something different and unique for each one of us. He created each of us with the skills needed to carry out His plans for us. No two of us are alike. We need to give each other room to be the unique person that each of us is. The way we serve and honor God is very personal. It comes from the heart. Each person's way will be as unique as their personalities.

All of creation honor God in a wide variety of ways. Some birds warble out their praises. Some chirp, whoop, chatter, or squawk. Squirrels chatter and scold, and at the same time amuse us with their cute antics. In the evening the sun paints the sky with beautiful colors of pinks, red, and oranges accompanied by the singing of crickets and a serenade of the coyotes. Water has it's own musical sounds from the crashing waves of the ocean, to the trickling and gurgling sounds of the creeks, to the light pattering of rain. The wind howls and roars, while breezes whisper through leaves. The snow quietly falls to the ground covering all the dirt and making everything look clean and white. There is a peaceful joy in sitting by a quiet, cool lake, seeing a rabbit who is quietly and timidly watching all that is going on around it, and watching the doe who moves quietly and gracefully through the trees.

Plants brighten the world with their cheery bold colors and pleasant smells. They also produce food to give our bodies the nourishment they need. Everything in nature has it's place and it's job to do. Each is important and unique. It is the same with people. Some people sing, some accompany. Some teach, some decorate, design, or provide us with humor and laughter. While others quietly support, sooth and calm those who are troubled. We serve and honor God best by doing what He created us to do and by letting each other do what God created each person do to. It makes life a lot more fun and interesting for us too!
